24 Short Christmas Books to Read as a Family

There was one Christmas tradition growing up that I loved more than almost any other; it was our Christmas book holiday count down. Every year, my mother would wrap 24 Christmas books and place them under the tree. Every night before bed, one of my six siblings would take turns selecting a book to unwrap, and then we would read the book as a family. It was a great way to enjoy Christmas stories, build up to the excitement of Christmas day, and to spend time as the family. I have such fond memories from these evenings spent reading stories that I’ve begun buying my own Christmas books so I can start this tradition with my own family.
